Unit types and mounting

We choose the indoor unit to suit the room, and place the outdoor unit where it will be safe, quiet and easy to reach for servicing.

Frequently asked questions

How much will it cost?

As a guide: air conditioning for one room incl. standard installation CZK 25,000, a multi-split for 2 rooms incl. installation CZK 45,000, service of one unit CZK 1,500. We set the final price after the site survey.

How long does installation take, and will it be messy?

We usually install one unit in a day. When drilling through the wall we extract the dust, cover the furniture and clean up after ourselves.

Do I need consent from the owners' association or landlord?

In a block of flats usually yes, because the outdoor unit sits on a shared façade or balcony. The rules are set by the owners' association or the building owner. We're happy to prepare the documents for your request.

Why not install it myself?

Only a certified technician (F-gas certification) may work with refrigerant. The circuit has to be evacuated and leak-tested, otherwise the unit loses output and refrigerant escapes. And manufacturers usually won't honour the warranty after an unprofessional installation.
